DURING THE NIGHT IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS AROUND 35, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 50 KNOTS. A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A broad field of a little raised and equalized air pressure lies over the Adriatic. A weakened cold front is approaching from the west.

Calm or NW and W, in places along the coast this morning NE winds, 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility above 20 km. Fine or fair. More cloud and a little risk of rain or isolated rain showers along the coast of the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Wind will turn to moderate to fresh NE, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea smooth or slight. Fair. In the extreme south of the Adriatic variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
