SYNOPSIS

A shallow field of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with weakened front is shifting more to the north of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds 6-12 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 10-18 knots, easing. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist reduced to around 5 km. Fine or fair and very warm. In the North and in places along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic in the afternoon, variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
