IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. ALONG THE COAST IN THE AFTERNOON AND IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of mean and equalized air pressure over the Adriatic is wekaning slowly, while a trough with weakend front is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SW winds 4-10, in the North Adriatic SW and SE up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, in the North Adriatic 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear, but in places along the coast in the afternoon variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, and in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day cloud increase with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder during the night, mainly in the extreme north.

Light, mainly SE and SW, in the North Adriatic up to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds. Sea smooth, in the North Adriatic slight. A risk of mist in places. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the extreme north.
