SYNOPSIS

A trough with cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gradual cloud increase, bringing rain, isolated rain showers and thunder later on, firstly in the extreme north of the Adriatic. Elsewhere mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, firstly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, then, around midday along the coast of the rest of the Adriatic. Light to fresh SE winds will turn to NW, firstly in the north of the Adriatic. Sea smooth or slight, in the open possibly up to moderate around midday.
