SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic SE and SW winds 4-10, in the open sea up to 15 knots. Elsewhere NW winds 6-16 knots, easing late in the day. Sea 1-2, locally up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast still with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. Calm or NW winds 4-10, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic tomorrow around midday up to 16 knots. Sea smooth, in the South Adriatic possibly up to slight.
