SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure from the European land lies over the Adriatic. A trough is expected to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Variable winds 4-12 knots. In the evening and during the night SE winds 5-15 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair, in the South Adriatic variably cloudy, still with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate SE winds gradually strengthening to fresh and strong. Sea smooth or slight, increasing locally up to moderate. Gradual cloud increase all over the Adriatic and a risk of a little rain in the North Adriatic.
