A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 5-15, in the South and North Adriatic up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots, easing later on. In the afternoon SE winds strengthening to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. In the South Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but clearing is expected late in the day. Mostly clear in the rest of the Adriatic.

Gradual cloud increase with a little risk of rain in the North Adriatic tomorrow. Light to moderate SE winds gradually strengthening to moderate to strong. Sea smooth or slight.
