SYNOPSIS

A field of a little lowered air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened cold front is approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North, late in the afternoon in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, NE winds 8-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. Elsewhere NW winds 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places and with brief isolated rain showers with thunder. A little cooler in the North, but no significant change in air temperatures in the rest of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Partial clearing. Along the coast moderate to fresh, in the Velebit Channel up to strong NE, and toward the open sea of the South Adriatic at first up to moderate NW winds, easing in the second part of the night. Sea smooth or slight.
