SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach tomorrow from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the south of the Adriatic at first still SE and SW winds 6-16 knots. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic wind will die away toward the end of the day and during the night. Sea 2-3, calming in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night and in the rest of the Adriatic tomorrow morning. Visibility 10-20 km. Initially still variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Gradual clearing is expected later on.

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic new cloud increase, firstly in the open sea, where a little rain is possible already during the forenoon. Calm or light variable winds, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night light, toward the open sea up to moderate NW winds. In the open of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the morning light to moderate SE winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the open of the southern part during the night still up to slight.
