A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 12-22, easing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the night to 4-12 knots, and turning along the coast to NE. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic possibly 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of the Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain today.

Mostly clear. Light, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic moderate, during the night still up to fresh, NW winds. Along the coast light, in the Velebit Channel during the night up to moderate, in places up to fresh, NE winds. Sea smooth, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic slight, in the extreme south of the Adriatic during the night possibly up to moderate.
