A field of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Along the coast NE winds 8-16, easing and turning to NW 6-14 knots. Toward the open sea NW winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open, toward the Strait of Otranto, 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear, but in the extreme south of Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of light scattered rain. A little warmer.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Clear skies. In the North Adriatic light, in the Velebit Channel up to moderate, NE winds. Elsewhere light, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to moderate NW winds and sea slight, elsewhere smooth.
