A low is slowly shifting from the Ligurian Sea eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 14-28, in the Central and in a part of the North Adriatic up to 32 knots. It will gradually ease, firstly in the North, from midday in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, and turn to SW, then to NW, 8-18, only in places up to 22 knots. Sea 3-4, in the Central, in the first part of the day in the North Adriatic as well, up to 5. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE winds will ease in the rest of the Central, late in the night in a part of the South Adriatic as well, and turn to SW, then to NW. In the North Adriatic in the second part of the night fresh NE winds, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, but partial clearing in the North Adriatic.
