SYNOPSIS

A weakened cold front is approaching the Adriatic from the north, where a field of high pressure is gradually weakening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic SE and SW winds 6-12, elsewhere NW 8-16 knots, easing till the end of the day. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear with some cloud in places in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North and South Adriatic fair, in the Central variably cloudy with light scattered rain in the morning. Along the coast of the North Adriatic light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh NE winds, easing till noon, and toward the open sea light SE and SW winds. Elsewhere light, toward the open of northern Dalmatia up to moderate NW winds, easing till noon and turning in the southern part to light SW. Sea smooth or slight. Air temperatures warming up.
