A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic calm or NE, in the afternoon NW, along the coast SW winds as well, 4-12 knots. In the South and Central Adriatic NW winds 6-16, in places in the afternoon up to 20 knots, and in places along the coast in the morning NE 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Central and South Adriatic 2-3, and in the open of the South Adriatic possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear with moderate increase of daily cloudiness along the coast.

Mostly clear. Light, in the Central and South Adriatic moderate, in places at first still up to fresh NW, easing and turning in the second part of the night to light, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to moderate, NE winds. Sea calm or smooth, in the Central and South Adriatic smooth and slight, in the open of the South Adriatic today possibly up to moderate.
