SYNOPSIS

A low centred over the Tyrrhenian Sea is extending a trough toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SE and SW, locally in the open of the North Adriatic NW winds, 6-16, and in the open of the South Adriatic most of the day SE up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4, calming in the evening. Visibility 10-20, but in places of the North Adriatic around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain and isolated rain showers, particularly in the South Adriatic, where thunder is also possible.

Light to moderate, mainly SE and SW, in the North Adriatic NW winds, further easing. Sea smooth or slight, calming slowly. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and isolate rain showers, particularly in the South Adriatic, where thunder is also possible.
