SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken slowly, while a shallow low is expected to generate over the western Mediterranean tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds, mainly SW and NW 4-12 knots. In the northern part of the Adriatic during the night SE winds 4-14 knots, firstly in the open sea. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear. Light to moderate SE winds spreading from the northern part to the rest of the Adriatic and strengthening in places during the forenoon up to fresh. Sea smooth, increasing in the morning to slight.
