SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is shifting over the Adriatic ans from the Northwest is approaching a ridge of high.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NORTH ADRIATIC: NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 28 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open southwards of Istria in the evening and in the night locally up to 4. Visibility 10-20. Cloudy, still in places rain and rain showers, bur clearing is to expect. CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC: Winds mainly from variable directiones, 5-15 knots, in the open sea up to 20, in the evening and in the night turning to NE, 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km, today still arround 4 km due to mist. Variably to mainly cloudy with a chance of rain and thunder showers.
