SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the west during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW, in the North Adriatic NE winds, 4-14, in the Velebit Channel at first NE still up to 22 knots, easing toward the end of the day and during the night. Sea calming to 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or even to less than 1 km due to fog at first and again during the night. Mostly clear, but cloud increase is expected in the open of the northern part of the Adriatic during the night.
