IN THE OPEN SEA OF THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW, ALONG THE COAST DURING THE NIGHT POSSIBLY OF NE, 35-40 KNOTS. TOMORROW MORNING GUSTS OF N and NE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-50 KNOTS. A VERY LITTLE RISK OF BRIEF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS TOMORROW MORNING.

A ridge of high pressure is extending from the northwest, while a weakened cold front will be shifting across the Adriatic tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 8-18, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic up to 24 knots, easing a little during the night and turning along the coast to NE 6-16, in places up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the Central and South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to fresh, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to strong NW, and along the coast mainly moderate NE winds. In the morning N, in places along the coast NE winds, strengthening to moderate to strong, toward midday up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. Variably cloudy with a little chance of rain or brief isolated rain showers with thunder.
