SYNOPSIS

A field of raised air pressure over the Adriatic is slowly weakening, while a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening toward the end of the day to 6-16, late in the night to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

SE winds further strengthening to moderate to strong, in places toward midday up to near gale force. Sea increasing to slight and moderate. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase with a risk of rain expected in the North Adriatic in the morning.
