SYNOPSIS

A field of high air pressure lies over the Adriatic, but it is expected to weaken gradually late in the day and a trough to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds 4-10, only in the Velebit Channel at first still NE 6-16 knots. Toward the end of the day SE winds is expected, reaching 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing toward the end of the day and during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the North and Central Adriatic still with some cloud at first.

Mostly clear with some cloud in the North Adriatic. Light to moderate SE winds strengthening to fresh, in places up to strong tomorrow before the morning. Sea smooth or slight, gradually increasing to moderate from the middle of the night.
