A ridge of high pressure is extending from the north toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW and NE winds 4-10, in the Velebit Channel NE up 16 knots at first. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel possibly 2-3 at first. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy, still with scattered rain south of Istria at first. Elsewhere mostly clear or fine and fair in places.

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic still variably cloudy, mainly toward the open sea. Calm or light NE and NW winds. Sea calm or smooth.
