WARNING
FROM MIDDAY GUSTS OF SE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN PLACES DURING THE NIGHT UP TO 50 KNOTS, AND SEA 4-5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY DURING THE NIGHT.
SYNOPSIS
A new trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the west.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 6-16, in the southern part of the Adriatic still up to 20 knots at first. In the North Adriatic in the morning, then elsewhere as well, wind turning to SE and strengthening to 12-24 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the end of the day and during the night increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist around 4 km. A new cloud increase from the west, bringing rain in the North Adriatic already this morning and in the rest of the Adriatic later on. A risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly during the night.

Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder. Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force SE winds. Sea slight and moderate, locally up to rough.
