SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds 4-10, turning during the night to SE, in the open of the North Adriatic to SW and gradually strengthening in the northern part to 4-14 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing in the northern part during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or even to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly during the night. Mostly clear, toward the open sea variably cloudy. Gradual cloud increase is expected in the evening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE and SW winds, strengthening in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward midday up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight. Mist in places and a risk of fog. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
