SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken slowly.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds, during the forenoon mainly NW, along the coast NE, 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km due to mist, or even to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly this morning and again in the evening. Mostly clear, but toward the open sea during the forenoon variably cloudy, in the southern part with a risk of light scattered rain. No significant change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light, in the North Adriatic in the second part of the night up to moderate SE and SW winds. Sea smooth, gradually increasing in the North Adriatic. Gradual cloud increase is expected, bringing rain in places of the North and of a part of the Central Adriatic from the middle of the night. Mist in places and a little risk of fog, mainly in the open sea.
