A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic.

NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to 20 knots, dying away in the morning. From midday mainly calm or variable winds 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly 2-3 at first. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to 4-10 km due to mist, mainly during the night. Mostly clear with some cloud in places, mainly toward the open sea.
