SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken slowly, while unstable and cold air is still circulating in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 8-18, turning to NW 4-14, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 18, and in the Velebit Channel NE still up to 22 knots at first. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy, in the open sea and along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic in the first part of the afternoon, still with light scattered rain or snow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate NW winds will gradually die away and turn, firstly in the North Adriatic, to light, in places up to moderate SW, and along the coast to SE and E winds. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with a chance of light scattered rain or snow in the open of the South Adriatic.
