SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 16-32, in places up to 40 knots. Toward the end of the day winds will gradually ease in the North Adriatic to 12-26, west of Istria to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, toward the open 5-6, calming in the North Adriatic toward the end of the day. Visibility 10-30 km. Mostly clear and very cold, and in the open sea variably cloudy with a chance of light snow.
