SYNOPSIS

A shallow low with a cold front is shifting fast over the Adriatic further on towards the southeast, a ridge of high is slowly intensifying from the northwest while unstable air will still be circulating in the heights.

NE and N winds intensifying to 16-32, locally up to 36, late in the day and at night 22-40, locally up to 48 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open intensifying to 4-5, at night 5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloudy with rain and showers with thunder, at the foot of Velebit, at night also in the open a risk of snow while partial clearing along the coast of the North and Central Adriatic.
