SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is slowly approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds 4-10 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, and in the open of the North Adriatic possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly during the night. Mostly clear with some cloud in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mainly light SW, along the coast SE and E, in the North Adriatic in the morning up to moderate SW winds. Sea smooth, in the northern part increasing to slight. Mist in places and a risk of fog in the open of the North Adriatic during the night and tomorrow morning. Gradual cloud increase, bringing some rain in places of the North Adriatic toward midday.
