SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with frontal disturbance is slowly approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or variable winds 4-10, in the open sea this morning still NW, and along the coast NE winds, up to 14 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the southern part during the forenoon 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, and in the open of the North Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly this morning and again during the night. Mostly clear and a little warmer with some cloud in places.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Calm, then light SW, along the coast SE and E winds, in places of the North Adriatic toward the morning up to moderate. Sea smooth. Gradual cloud increase is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic in the second part of the night. In the open of the North Adriatic a risk of fog.
