A ridge of high pressure is strengthening from the north while at night a new cold front will be shifting over the Adriatic towards the west.

NE and N winds strengthening to 14-28 knots, locally up to 34, in the open up to 38 knots. In the North Adriatic NE and NW winds 6-16, only in some places up to 20 knots and late in the day and at night NE wind gradually strengthening to 14-28, in the open and in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots.
