IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AS WELL AS IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WIND 30-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is stationary over the Adriatic while a trough over western Mediterranean is expected to become gradually deeper.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind 12-22, in the Velebit Channel up to 34 knots, gradually diminishing to 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24 knots. In a part of the Central and South Adriatic NE wind 6-16 knots, diminishing to 4-8, only in some places up to 14 knots and in the open turning to NW wind. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE wind 12-26 knots, diminishing a little. Sea 2-3, locally in the North and South Adriatic 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate NE, in the open NW winds. Locally in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic strong NE wind. Sea smooth to slight, locally in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic moderate.
