IN A MAJOR PART OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC, FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT ALSO IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WIND 35-45 KNOTS. STILL TODAY SEA POSSIBLY 5 LOCALLY IN THE OPEN.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic will become weaker a little bit more while a trough over western Mediterranean is expected to become gradually deeper.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

E wind 8-18, towards the open sea up to 28 knots while in the North Adriatic mainly NE and E winds 10-20, locally in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, towards the open 3-4, possibly also 5 locally in the open. Visibility 10-20 km, locally in the open possible to be reduced to about 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy, locally in the open a chance of rain.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic fresh NE wind, at the foot of Velebit also strong while in the rest of the Adriatic SE and E winds gradually diminishing, first along the coast turning to light to moderate, only in the extreme south of the Adriatic also strong NE wind. Sea smooth to slight, in the open also moderate. Variably cloudy, still in the beginning locally in the open a chance of rain, then gradual clearing up is expected.
