SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is becoming weaker while a trough over western Mediterranean is expected to become deeper.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE winds, locally in the open SE wind intensifying to 12-24 knots. Elsewhere along the coast E wind 8-18, in the open SE wind intensifying to 12-26 knots. Sea intensifying to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Fair to mostly cloudy, scattered rain, mainly only in the open of the North and Central Adriatic.
