IN THE OPEN SEA OF THE NORTH ADRIATIC, TOWARD THE ITALIAN COAST, A RISK OF FOG DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING. IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC DURING THE FORENOON STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is still intensifying over the Adriatic from the European land.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-14 knots, turning again along the coast in the evening to NE. In the extreme south of the Adriatic NE winds 6-16, in the afternoon up to 22 knots. Sea 1-2, in the South Adriatic 2-3, and in the extreme south still up to 4 at first. Visibility above 20, in places during the night around 5 km due to mist, in the open of the North Adriatic, toward the Italian coast, possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear with occasional cloud.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light NW, along the coast light NE winds, only in the extreme south still up to moderate. Sea calm or smooth, in the open of the South Adriatic up to slight. Fine or fair.
