A field of raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, in the North, during the night in places of the Central Adriatic as well, possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Fair or mainly cloudy with a chance of light scattered rain or drizzle, mainly toward the open sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

NE winds gradually strengthening to light to moderate. Sea increasing toward the open to slight. In places of the North and Central Adriatic during the night and tomorrow morning, a chance of mist or fog. Variably cloudy with light scattered rain or drizzle, mainly toward the open sea, while gradual clearing is expected along the coast.
