A ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW, in places along the coast NE winds, 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 5 km due to mist, in the North Adriatic possibly to less than 1 km due to fog. In the North, then in the rest of the Adriatic as well, fair or mainly cloudy with a very little risk of light scattered rain or drizzle, mainly toward the open sea of the North and Central Adriatic.

Calm or NW, in places along the coast NE winds, from the middle of the night up to moderate. Sea smooth. Fair or mainly cloudy with a very little risk of light scattered rain or drizzle, mainly toward the open sea. In the North and Central Adriatic a risk of mist and fog here and there. Gradual clearing is expected along the coast in the second part of the night.
