SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure over the Adriatic is gradually weakening, while a cold front is expected to approach from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and SW winds 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist around 4 km, or even less than 1 km due to fog. In the North Adriatic and in the open sea low cloud and a chance of light drizzle. Gradual cloud increase is expected toward the end of the day and during the night.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North, then gradually in the rest of the Adriatic, light to moderate NE and NW winds. Sea increasing toward the open to slight. Still a risk of mist or fog in places. Variably cloudy with rain in places and with a little risk of brief isolated thundery rain showers.
