SYNOPSIS

A field of very high air pressure lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 4-10 knots. Along the coast this morning still NE winds 4-12, in the South Adriatic up to 16, then calm or variable winds up to 10 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open of the South Adriatic this morning 2-3. Visibility mainly above 20 km. In the North Adriatic, in the evening elsewhere as well, reduced to around 5 km due to mist, in places even to less than 1 km due to fog, particularly in the open sea. Mostly clear. No change in air temperatures.

Calm along the coast and light NW winds in the open sea. Sea calm or smooth. Mostly clear with mist or fog here and there.
