SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from northeast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-26, easing to 4-14, in the South Adriatic to 20 knots, and turning in the open sea to NW winds. Sea 2-3, locally at first up to 4. Visibility 10-20, but in the extreme north of the Adriatic possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear with some low cloud in places of the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear with some low cloud in places of the North Adriatic and with a chance of fog. Calm or light NW, in the South Adriatic at first still light to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth, at first still up to slight.
