A weakened front is shifting north of the Adriatic eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW, in places along the coast during the night NE winds, 6-16 knots. In the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 10-20, easing in the greater part of the region during the night to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic today still up to 4. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist, during the night possibly less than 1 km due to fog. Fine or fair.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Fine or fair with some more clouds in places during the day and with a chance of a little rain or drizzle, mainly toward the open sea. Mist in places and a risk of fog here and there. Light to moderate NW, along the coast during the night and in the morning NE winds. In the extreme south of the Adriatic at first still up to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth or slight.
