TOWARD THE OPEN SEA OF THE SOUTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE MORNING LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and N WINDS 35-55, EASING IN THE AFTERNOON, BUT IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC STILL UP TO 45 KNOTS, EASING DURING THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 8-16, toward the open sea of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 30 knots, easing in the afternoon and turning to NW. In the North Adriatic NE and NW winds 6-14 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear. Air temperatures a little higher.

Light to moderate NE, toward the open sea NW winds. In the extreme south of the Adriatic up to strong N winds, easing in the second part of the night. Sea smooth or slight, in the extreme south of the Adriatic at first up to moderate. Gradual cloud increase.
