A low over the Adriatic will be shifting eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW, in the North Adriatic mainly NE, and in the South Adriatic SW winds, 15-30, in the Velebit Channel and in the open sea up to 36 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the open 5-6. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well, precipitation dying out and cloud partly breaking up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Gradual clearing, but in the South Adriatic staying cloudy with rain, showers and thunder at first. A new cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic tomorrow. In the North and Central Adriatic moderate to near gale force NW and NE winds easing to light to fresh, and in the South Adriatic moderate to near gale force SW winds turning to NW and easing a little. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic up to rough.
