SYNOPSIS

A shallow low over the Adriatic is filling up, while a new one is expected to generate over the Gulf of Genoa.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly SW and NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots, easing late in the day. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic at first and in the North in the second part of the night 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of isolated rain showers with thunder.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

SE and S winds gradually strengthening to light to moderate, in the Central Adriatic up to fresh and in the North even up to strong. Sea smooth or slight, increasing in the North Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a chance of isolated rain showers with thunder.
