SYNOPSIS

A low centered over the Balkan peninsula is shifting northeastwards, while its trough over the Adriatic is slowly filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 8-18, easing gradually to 5-15 knots. In the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic NW winds 16-32, easing during the night to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in the open of the Central Adriatic 4-5, calming during the night. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair.
