SYNOPSIS

A low over the Gulf of Genoa is still deepening and during the night it will be shifting together with the frontal system across the northern part of the Adriatic northeastwards, while a deep trough will remain over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and S, in the northern part of the Adriatic SW winds as well, 14-28, in places up to 34 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open 4-5. Visibility 5-15 km. Mainly cloudy and rather warm with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Strong and near gale force southerly winds will gradually turn all along the Adriatic to SW and ease toward the morning. Sea slight and moderate, in the open up to rough. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder.
