IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS. IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC TOMORROW, TOWARD MIDDAY, LOCAL GUSTS OF SE WINDS AROUND 35 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

A field of high pressure has intensified over the Adriatic, while a trough with cold front is shifting further southeastwards and a new one is expected to approach from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly E and SE winds 4-10 knots. During the night SE winds gradually strengthening to 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear with some clouds in places, only in the South Adriatic still variably cloudy with a chance of rain or brief isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the extreme south. A new cloud increase is expected from the west during the night, bringing rain later on.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Variably cloudy with scattered rain. SE winds further strengthening, till the morning to moderate and strong, and toward the end of the day in the North Adriatic up to near gale force. Sea increasing to slight, in the northern part in the morning up to moderate.
