IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW MORNING, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS. A CHANCE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND IN THE REST OF THE ADRIATIC TOMORROW.

SYNOPSIS

A ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening, while a trough with cold front is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in the North, during the night in the rest of the Adriatic, SW winds, 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic mainly cloudy with scattered rain, while gradual cloud increase with rain expected in the rest of the Adriatic toward the end of the day and during the night. In the North Adriatic during the night a chance of isolated thundery rain showers.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North, in the morning in a part of the Central Adriatic, winds turning to moderate to strong NE, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Sea smooth or slight, in the North Adriatic, then in a part of the Central, toward the open increasing up to moderate.
