A CHANCE OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST. GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS, FIRSTLY IN THE NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC.

SYNOPSIS

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 6-16, easing and turning to NW, then to NE, strengthening to 12-24, in the Velebit Channel up to 32 knots. NE winds expected in the North Adriatic this morning, spreading to the rest of the Adriatic till the end of the day. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. This morning still rain, showers and thunder in places, mainly in the North Adriatic, then variably cloudy with a little chance of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea.

Along the coast clearing and in the open sea still variably cloudy with a little chance of scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE winds. Sea slight and moderate.
